Discovery Tours lesson plans and worksheets
Discovery Tours by Ubisoft is an educational version of the popular Assassin's Creed games. In Discovery Tours, the combat elements of the games have been completely removed and the developers have added educational tours which let children explore environments and artifacts from the settings.
There are currently three time periods available to explore: Ancient Egypt (at the time of Cleopatra), Ancient Greece and Anglo Saxon Britain at the time of the Vikings.
All three games offer stunning, immersive experiences which can form the basis of historical enquiry and writing. The Ancient Greek and Egyptian games are possibly the easiest to use, as the Anglo Saxon games follows a more narrative stucture.
